A couple of months ago he was praising the Scottish and Canadian healthcare systems.
New Zealand had great health care when I was a child...the doctor came to our house..
but it was paid out of taxes...
Note: only New Zealand citizens got this “free” health care...
Come on, a little intellectual honesty here.
The systems did work for those countries, they were poorly populated without medical access and government systems got better access to the people. I believe they will outgrow the system and private healthcare will be a larger part of the picture in both countries.
In 2000 Trump said that the systems worked there and perhaps in an earlier stage would have worked here but not now (2003). His plan for America is free market with increased competition across state lines, HSAs and a separate saftey net for the indigent. VA to be able to use the standard system. Many people are confused by his Universal Health Care term.
