Yes and Cruz is the one who is always harping about getting rid of the IRS. I would love to see the IRS go to that ash bin of history, but wouldn't that take an act of congress?
I don't see congress giving up their tool of power, no how, no way.
I wish someone would ask Cruz how intends to accomplish this.

Cruz wants a national sales tax.
But as another freeper has reminded me, we need to repeal the 16th amendment , or we end up with a sales tax and an income tax.
