ATLANTA – Ted Cruz promised in the debate Thursday night to release twin more years worth of tax returns, as a tactic to pressure billionaire Donald Trump to release his own tax records. Two days later, Cruz has yet to do so, and aides put no deadline on the delay. “These things take time,” said Cruz spokeswoman Catherine Frazier. “We’re working on pulling these together and we’re going to release them when they’re ready.”

Both Cruz and Rubio said they would do it soon, probably this week. After that, if they haven’t, you can ask about it. In the meantime, I presume they’re collecting up the information.

You know, I don’t care if any of them release their records. I don’t know what in hell it’s going to tell us about the candidate. But this is really hypocritical. This guy is really dishonest.
I don’t think any candidate should have to publicize their tax returns. However, it is always the Republicans who end up doing it, to the great pleasure of the MSM.

NO, it’s been six or seven months. They have the same valid reasons for not releasing their returns as does Trump (only difference being Trump’s return is a whole lot more involved), so screw both of them, they are two pots calling the kettle black.

We were all fooled. I've said it before. Once you see that "something" in Cruz, it never goes away, and everything he disclaims ties together as part of the package he's hiding.
I suspect a lot of folks finally got it when Cruz said he preferred Rubio over Trump, after drafting off of Trump as long as he could.
You're not alone. A lot of us gave. The way I look at it, he probably spent more money trying to extort a second donation out of me than I gave to begin with. So he probably lost money on us "little folk" Cruz pretended to support in order to get his campaign started.
For all of those times the TDSers have claimed “just wait, you’ll see the real Trump”

Yep. I was alright with Cruz until he got buddy-buddy with Rubio. That definitively ruined it for me.
There is no law or requirement for any candidate to release their tax returns. Trump would be crazy to do it!
