“Provincial police report that a senior Taliban commander was shot dead by a woman in the northern Baghlan province of Afghanistan, because he barged into her home uninvited.
“Press TV notes that invading the woman’s home was considered “a serious breach of privacy” under Afghan custom. Evidently this particular homeowner took it seriously, because she reported “opened indiscriminate fire” on the Taliban who violated her privacy, injuring one militant in addition to the slain commander.”
