I have been hopeful for Cruz, but stick a fork in him.

The party that passes itself off as Republican created Trump. This is why I now hope that Trump has the majority of delegates going into the convention. I want to see the party tear itself to shreds, left on the side of the road for vultures to pick over.

I will not vote for Lady Satan. But her winning is an acceptable price to pay to see the establishment GOP thrown onto the ash heap of history.

Then we rebuild, from the local and state level. Or go out in flaming glory.

Marco converted to Mornonism as a child but has since returned to a Catholic faith of sorts. I read that he is a practicing Catholic who also attends an Evangelical church.

So, he's confused both sexually and religiously?

That’s projection. I’ve watched trump supporters attack everyone that supports someone else, anyone else.

“I wonder if they even are for Cruz.”

I used to wonder the same thing, but Cruz just keeps upping the rhetoric into crazy town. And now joining up with Rubio?

Well what Cruz does himself is certainly on him, but we can’t hold him responsible for those claiming to be his fans.

Some are zealots who are clueless about the damage that they are doing to Cruz, all sides have some of those, but some of the most strident may be agents provocateurs who are killing two birds with the same stone, Trump and Cruz.

Time for Ted Cruz to Step Aside and Throw His Support To The Inevitable Candidate, Mr. Donald John Trump

I seriously doubt that would ever happen. If it did, there would be one less conservative.

I also seriously doubt that as well.

Alabama is largely a Trump state. Sessions is simply going with his electorate.

I know because I have a home there. About 40% are gimmee’s who think Trump, as opposed to Cruz, will never cut their benefits.

The working people, mostly manufacturing and it’s service industries, see trump as good for business! They see Cruz, the scary conservative as a threat to the large government tentacles that feed at least 40% of the residents who buy stuff they make.

Conservatives have become a threat to the business sector because of the invasive cancer of crony capitalism.

The real problem as I see it, is that the so called conservative movement is not nearly as large as some think it is. Certainly not on FR..

The ranks once considered as being sizable, are going to be trimmed substantially... It will be quite interesting, IMO

Or for Hillary, or just trying to cause general dissension in the ranks.

My point is it’s hard to finger Cruz “supporters” as shills when Cruz himself has become unhinged. It’s just as likely they mean it.

Well I’m definitely disappointed since Cruz has been my second choice. I thought that Trump’s attacks on Cruz were gamesmanship but now I’m wondering if there isn’t a grain of truth to his charges.

How someone could even say the names of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump in the same sentence is beyond me.

If trump is your first then you cannot possibly vote for Ted Cruz.

It would be like pouring salt water on a witch.

“If trump is your first then you cannot possibly vote for Ted Cruz”

Well you are welcome to invent whatever story makes you happy.

I was for Cruz and only Cruz until I began paying attention to Trump instead of dismissing him as a shallow celebrity. Obviously the great Senator Jeff Sessions agrees with my take on Trump.

Sorry to disappoint you but I have been a Cruz supporter, although some of his more obnoxious supporters are trying my patience.

I’m fine with either Cruz or Trump but despise Rubio. Alexander and Rubio are actually a perfect RINO match.

If you would read my posts, you would know that I was criticizing the over-the-top Cruz supporters that were slandering Sessions, just as they slandered Palin.

I just spent 3 weeks in Alabama. What sessions is doing does not surprise me in the least. He is a politician, all said and done...he’s going with the flow.

I really don’t take any of this so seriously that I lose my ability to think rationally. Trump will be no savior. Everyone who supports him sees something different in him. This is why I knew that this country was lost in 2012 because the electorate behaved in the same way with Obama.

Trump is a opinionated populist fool. He knows nothing about the ills of this country. He cannot therefore be expected to put it right.

Frankly, I think even Cruz would admit that it might be a bridge too far.

But to make my point clear, if you are looking to return some sanity to the country, fiscally, constitutionally, and yes even morally, you are supporting the wrong guy.

But in retrospect, the quicker we hit the bottom, the quicker we can rebuild from the ash.

Cruz may have been able to buy us 10-15 more years...Trump won’t stop the demolition clock at all, and may well speed it up.

And I see something entirely different.
