That’s one opinion, which I think is how I personally think SCOTUS would rule, but who knows. Since there are constitutional experts on both sides, it clearly is not settled. That should be obvious, but I get attacked by both sides who claim their opinion is fact. Now what about this—it goes to SCOTUS and you have a 4/4 split on whether Cruz is eligible? What then?

No you are either born a natural born citizen or you apply to be a citizen.

You can be a citizen at birth without being eligible. NBC is the highest standard of citizen at birth.
