Donald Trump on Monday night received endorsements from NASCAR’s CEO and several race car drivers on the eve of Super Tuesday.

The GOP front-runner announced the support from Brian France at a rally in Valdosta, Ga. Retired driver Bill Elliott and current drivers Chase Elliott, Ryan Newman and David Lee Regan are also backing the real estate mogul.

NASCAR, and especially NASCAR Drivers, almost ALWAYS steer clear of political BS, due to sponsorship issues, etc.

If they endorsed, it means their primary sponsors said it was OK to do so!

(Valdosta, GA) February 29th, 2016 – Today Donald J. Trump was endorsed by Brian France, Chairman & CEO of NASCAR, popular retired driver Bill Elliott, and active drivers Chase Elliott, Ryan Newman, and David Lee Regan. France, Elliott, and the drivers endorsed Mr. Trump at a rally attended by thousands in Valdosta, Georgia just one day before the Super Tuesday primary.

These influential endorsements come just days after former Presidential candidate and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and Senator Jeff Sessions, recognized by many as the conservative soul of the U.S. Senate, offered their endorsements of the republican frontrunner.

Mr. Trump continues to dominate in state and national polls with the most recent survey from CNN showing Mr. Trump with 49% support nationwide.

France and NASCAR took a beating over the Confederate Flag issue so i’m sure this endorsement is “make-up sex,” as it were, with NASCAR’s fan base.

One thing for sure NASCAR’s endorsement let’s Nikki Haley, Lindsey Graham, Trey Gowdy, and the rest of the Southern wing of the GOPe know that they backed the wrong horse and they are gonna pay for it.
