What you are doing is the equivalent of calling Kasich a Pollock, Carson an African, Trump a Kraut, and Sanders a Jew.
That is not the kind of behavior that should be acceptable here. I'm not talking about politically incorrect speak, I'm talking about factually incorrect slander.
All of these candidates are Americans. Like them or not, believe they are natural born or not, they are Americans.
Rubio’s record on immigration is a background of ethnic pandering and disparagement of bitter clingers.
Israel and Poland dont have 100 million citizens lined up the southern border.
Amen...!!!
Exactly right.
And though I dislike and distrust Rubio, I think he's a better candidate for president than John McCain was.
You apparently may not have noticed, but this place is not what it used to be. It is populated by rude, arrogant, profane and racist posters. There was a time, posters were interesting, intelligent and even if you did not agree with them, they were agreeable. Those folks are long gone. I have posted my share of rude/mean posts, but as Trump revels in and contributes to the coarsening of our culture, his supporters here are more bold with their racist and mean posts.
Thank you. As many FReepers well know, there are many, many, MANY Americans of Cuban descent in Miami who have been fighting the good fight for a very long time — much longer, I’m sure, than the person to whom you were responding has even been alive.

I agree, 100%. However, I might note that calling Sanders a Jew does not take away from his being an American (a strange and deluded one, but an American nonetheless) any more than calling someone a Christian takes away from their being an American.
Let's at least TRY to get back toward some higher level of civility in politics (and here on FR, as well). I would hope that the time from last week's debate to now will mark a low-point in American politics, though I don't believe that it will.
NOW, as far as Rubio and his stance on guns is concerned, here are my thoughts:
First, I condemn him for that vote.
Second, I have believed, since the time that he joined the Gang of 8, that he was not a genuine conservative/Tea Party type, but that he merely jumped on the bandwagon in order to get elected. I'm not sure that the entire story on Rubio is out yet, but from what I can see he is NOT that conservative and is NOT the candidate for me. YMMV.
