You’re right. There was some great music in that movie.

I’d love to join the club, count me in. I mostly love the old musicals and romance movies.

How about Cover Girl with Rita Hayworth and Gene Kelly.

Great dancing by Kelly.

Not a musical, but I enjoy The Thin Man series with William Powell and Myrna Loy as Nick and Nora Charles. Funny!

Someone had to bring up old movies and musicals, and now all I can think about are musicals - there were so many good ones!

Just thought of a couple of my other favs - Hello Dolly and Bye Bye Birdie (very fun)

Elvis had some fun musicals, too. Not on the caliber of My Fair Lady, but fun.

Another actress that I always thought was so pretty and enamored with is Ann Margaret - IIRC she was in Bye Bye Birdie and Viva Las Vegas
