I doubt they will ever really warm up to Cruz. Someone on CNN said if you walk the halls of Congress, you'll see they really don't like Cruz. He said that Cruz has spent all his time proving that he's antiestablishment, (and then Trump came and took the moniker away), that he made no allies.
GOPe will not turn to Cruz when Rubio falls.

I heard that too. He said Cruz had gone around Washington making enemies....and that’s why everyone hates him now :(
