I also congratulate Cruz for his victory in his home state of Texas (expected) and his win in neighboring Oklahoma (not a major surprise).

But Cruz got crushed in the Deep South which was supposed to be his stronghold. In the Northeast, he's in fourth place in both VT and MA. But in probably the biggest blow of all, Trump has kept him below 50 per cent in Texas, which means that instead of taking all the 155 delegates there (which he desperately needed), he will now need to split them with Trump.

This will put Cruz in a near impossible position to win the nomination. Cruz would pretty much have to run the table from here on out to overtake Trump. After tonight's very nasty "victory" speech, I just don't see that happening.

After listening to Cruz lie his ass off tonight, and show us all what a smarmy puke he truly is.....I am kinda anxious to see how much Rush and Levin kiss his arse tomorrow!!/S

Cruz isnt ready for prime time!! If I wanted a disgusting liar for POTUS< I would vote for Hitlery!!

Neither Cruz or Rubio have a realistic path to the nomination. There are only two options - Trump or a brokered convention. Unfortunately the brokered convention scenario survived tonight.
