Is anyone in the Trump campaign talking to Newt? Seriously. Is there any chance of “winning him over”? He carries a lot of acumen in his depth and a lot of power. Or is no one talking to him? This would be a HUGE personality to get into a Trump cabinet/administration.

Read somewhere there are talks of Newt being Chief of Staff which, as I understand it, it the main liaison between the President and Congress. What better person than Newt?

I think he would be a great VP. Frankly, someone who could walk into the oval office if something happened to the Pres and be Pres on day one. That's the main job of the VP, let's face it.

Kasich might be the VP. Ohio is a key state. Legislative experience. Nice guy the balance Trump out on tone.

The Florida choices seem week (Rubio or Bush).

Newt for Chief of Staff.

Christie for AG.

Carson for Surgeon General.

I think Rubio and Cruz have burned all Trump bridges. Was hoping to see Cruz on SCOTUS.
