Exactly. I've seen so many posts here bashing Cruz's speech this evening. How dare he be mean in his speech? How dare he not accept Trump's olive branch? Waaaaahhhh! Trump has called Cruz the biggest liar he ever met and has called him a "nasty guy" repeatedly. Fine. But the Donald and his supporters shouldn't then be surprised that Cruz doesn't feel like bending over and taking it this evening. Trump set the civility bar from day one in this election; Cruz is just climbing down there to meet him.
The difference between Trump being angry and Cruz being angry is one of inspiration. When Trump gets angry, you want to fight with him.
When Cruz gets angry like he did tonight, you want to back away from him. Slowly.
Good grief. Don’t get your panties in a wad. Cruz stood up there tonight and LIED yet again about Trump. Everyone watching the speech knew he was lying...and they were all thinking ‘well, there he goes again’.
So, yes, he is a big liar. I don’t understand why he does it, but the man does. Over and over.
If you will recall very recent history, Trump did not bash Cruz until that sneaky meeting of Cruz with his backers in NYC. Uh-oh. Someone had a cellphone.
