Since Cruz's delegates will end up going to Rubio, a vote for Cruz is in essence a vote for Rubio.

How do you figure that Cruz’s delegates will go to Rubio?

Cruz & Rubio = Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.
Two Washington Insider Cartel Professional Politicians who have gotten us to the point we're at. I don't see that it really matters.
Either way, Cruzio or Mario, the final Repub matchup is the same:
GLOBALIST versus PATRIOT.
And the Globalists have and will pull all the stops out. Their entire way of life and future generations of wealth as the new world oligarchy are at stake for them.

Just how do you reach that conclusion?

I don’t think so. Not in my case.

Cruz is my #1. Trump is #2 on my list (and fading). It’s increasingly apparent that he isn’t even a Republican.

That is just plain stupid. Sorry but that has zero chance of happening since Cruz is far ahead of Rubio in delegates and wins.

Not true.
1. Cruz isn't going to endorse Rubio.
2. The candidate's delegates are bound to him thru the first ballot -- they cannot be directed otherwise. After that, they are released and can act on their own.
