Doesn’t that bode well for Trump’s ability to bring in cross over and independent votes?
Shhh. This is about ideological purity. Don’t bring up post nomination considerations. lol
If he Trump is bringing in more votes from non party then surely that would be a plus, so not sure why some are trying to down play this while Ted who I was with , but don’t know now if I will vote for him is not even winning a single county in some southern states.
Ted is not appealing to most and we need more than just conservatives to beat Clinton.
If they GOP wants to survive... they should nominate a Republican... not a life long Democrat.
Trump loves Code Pink & Planned Parenthood... and has apparently told the New York Times his entire campaign against illegals is a scam.
“Doesnt that bode well for Trumps ability to bring in cross over and independent votes?”
Now don’t go bringing in any obvious common sense.
“Doesnt that bode well for Trumps ability to bring in cross over and independent votes?”
It does mean that, on that we can agree. It also means Trump wil have to run hard left in the general, because he has decimated the GOPe (who while RINOs still vote Republican) while also turning off the Cruz coalition (who are staunch conseervative constitutionalists).
Hence in practice rather than rhetoric you will get a nightmare, an autocratic NYC RINO. Already you have Krispy Kreme at his back.
He brings in dem votes because he is one of them
No, it bodes well for him losing the general when the liberal Dems who helped him win the primary go back to their ideological home and destroy him. They know Hilary has this in the bag so they want to do what they can to hurt Republican chances. This entire concept of letting the other side have a voice in choosing your own candidate is beyond stupid to me, and it is a big part of Trump’s upport.
They made the same argument when McCain and Romney won the nomination by relying on Dems and independents. How did that work out in the general?
