I heard Trump is asking that to allow Democrats and Independent liberals to vote in closed primaries so he can win.

Shameless liar.

If they get Trump they just need to figure out how to pay him off and it will cost a lot more than other politicians.

I'm not a big Trump fan, although I'll hold my nose and vote for him if he wins the nomination.

But I don't believe that anyone will be able to buy him off for any amount of money.

No they hate Trump more. One they cannot control Trump and they have already proven they can control Cruz. Also, they know if Rubio pulls out Cruz and Trump will neither be able to get the required votes for the nomination. That is the scenario they desire at this point. They will say WE MUST have a compromise candidate.

Cruz does well in closed primaries in his own state and the one next door. In the other wins he just barely eaked out a win.

Cruz has not demonstrated any ability to win anything outside his own strongholds.

Let’s get this straight - he’s a “shameless liar” because YOU heard a rumor about something?

Ted gained a lot from Texas. What are the percentages minus Texas? I expect they would show a blowout for Donald.

Trump should take big states like Florida, Ohio and easily Michigan as well as a slew of other states. I don’t see a path for Ted.

Does this delegate count for Trump include the three states he won previously, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Nevada? If not, does anyone know Trump’s total amount of delegates?

I thought Cruz COULD have had a shot until I found out hucksbed won a lot of states that Cruz didn’t and obviously didn’t get the nomination. I think with winner takes all now, Cruz will have a very tough time winning.

[Cruz does well in closed primaries and there are a few winner take all ones coming up very soon.]

The question will be if TRUMP will have enough delegates to win on the first round at the convention. (factoring the open delegates)

On the second round committed delegates are free to vote their consciences if I am correct.

Wow! I hope someone has told Tom Delay Trump is OVER 300. He said last night it wasn’t happening. Rubio was all but the winner.

Does Team Cruz realize we live in a Republic that requires comprise and negotiation to accomplish anything?

You all seem to think you simply have to elect your god king and everything will automatically be done as he wills it.

Doesn’t work that way children.

Besides the lying and the anti-conservative votes... but I wouldn’t vote for Cruz - the great self-proclaimed defender of the constitution - because I don’t believe he is eligible. And I don’t think he did either back in 2012 before he decided to go for it.

A hypocrite of mega proportions!

That being said, he may get a ruling that says ok...no problemo - one citizen parent and who cares who the other parent is and where you were born...no problemo. This will work against USA in the end. I’m sure the globalists support a non-citizen before a by the rules patriot.

Rubio's sole win so far is Minnesota, a caucus state which hasn't voted GOP since 1972. Only DC has a longer string of unbroken Democrat wins.

Beyond that:

Trump won four states likely to vote GOP to three for Cruz in the same category. Trump and Cruz each won a single swing state since I am counting Colorado for Cruz even though no actual delegates were awarded. Trump also won two states likely to go Democrat in November. So, a much closer Super Tuesday than headlines suggest.

On the Democrat side, Clinton won six states likely to vote Democrat in November plus one likely to vote Democrat. Sanders won two states likely to vote Democrat and each won a single swing state. Again, not the Super Tuesday wipe-out which headlines suggest.

You said: “He won’t need to...he’s the only one that has won a closed primary.

I heard Trump is asking that to allow Democrats and Independent liberals to vote in closed primaries so he can win.”

My wife heard a lady in line for the Republican primary saying she was a democrat trying to skew the Republican primary election. We are in a conservative area of Texas, so I imagine there is a lot of this going on elsewhere.

So which states are closed primaries?

Most Texans did not vote for Cruz. He didn’t get 50%.

Yep Trump has a WIDER DELEGATE LEAD NOW, than he did 24 hours ago.

24 hours ago he had 62% of the available delegates. Now he has 46%.

Having a massive 30% plus Republican under vote is no way to win the general either, which is what is likely to unfold with Trump as the nominee.
