Donald Trump is in Portland, Maine? Our guy sure gets around.

It’s funny how are guy trashed the competition on Tuesday, only to have the media down play it, to the point that this morning we’re seeing article about Cruz winning, or coming close to winning with the delegates he won.

What you can’t find, is the number of votes cast for Trump compared to everyone else. I’ve spent thirty minutes looking. I bet the numbers are YUUUUUUUUUUUGE!

Portland, Maine? I can’t wait until he comes to Little Ole LaGrange, GA. John Kennedy came on October 10, 1960. He drove right tiny main street sitting on the back of a yellow convertible. We have a brand new outdoor amphitheater.

So, please come.

Good morning, thanks for this. My missus dad was in NH with us but has to go back to Maine for a big fight to elect delegates on Saturday. The governor is a Trumpian, the voters are Trumpian but the party apparatus is made of Susan Collins peeps. Expect massive dirty tricks. Go Trump! Go USA!

Steven King and Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. Don’t know the other two.

Just to add to your background on Maine - even more beautiful than my beloved New Hampshire. But, the entrenched liberal government there has turned it into an economic basket case. No young people stay. No economic development. The economy is on life support. Total shame.

Morning Joe has a transcript of Mitten Romney’s speech today. Pretty hard hitting. Here’s an example.

“Donald Trump is as phony as a degree from Trump University”

Trump will be on Morning Joe sometime this morning but I’m headed off to work. Onward and Upward.

My neck of the woods. The Westin is about 20 miles from my house, I know the area well. But, I'm in the Detroit, Michigan area at the moment, not returning home until Friday night.

Stephen King is a Bangor boy, 100+ miles to the north.

Lots of imports from Mass, CT, NY. The professionals vacation here, them migrate because the geography is awesome. Lawyers, doctors, insurance. The "heavy industries" of wood, paper and fabrics are dead. A little bit of high tech, but not much. Population is low, hard to get a critical mass of skilled help to support industry. State population is about 1.4 million, has been for decades.

The name “Romney” should forever become associated with “loser”, as in “What a Romney that guy is!”

“You’re a total Romney!”

I am so sick of the most liberal Republican Presidential candidate in history, Romney, trying to come out of the political dead, not to save America from Obama, but to try to derail Donald Trump, who trying to SAVE America.

I hope that so much scorn and derision lands on that Romney’s head that he stays quiet the rest of his Romney life.

Checking in. I used to have a home in East Boothbay. I still miss the sound of the bell buoy, but was fortunate to buy a large wind chime toned to sound just like it. A bit of Linekin Bay in the NC mountains.

Stephen King is originally from Durham, Joshua Chamberlain, a hero to many of us to this day, was from Brewer. John Ford (his real name was Feeney) was born in Cape Elizabeth. He was a good friend of my grandfather. I remember him coming to the house when I was a kid. Longfellow was indeed born in Portland.

Jock McKernan, his wife Olymia Snowe, and the old guard of Mitchell and Cohen are in total control. The party is a very tightly closed club. LePage is pilloried. Too bad, because he is a good egg. Portland is liberal as can be, "artsy-fartsy."

I want to know how many black members the Mormon cult has? Jeff Kuhner said on his show that there are no high ranking black Mormons. Mormons also won’t tell you that they discourage blacks from joining, and they keep a big secret about how many blacks are in their Mormon cult too.

They’re saying on Morning Joe that whatever Romney says will be irrelevant tomorrow after Trump’s debate performance (think he’ll do well).

Mika kinda sticking up for Trump and mentions Romney’s glowing comments of him in 2012 - she says are we going to juxtapose that speech with the one today?

I used to take wife and kids there on two-week summer vacations in the cabins on 'Belgrade lakes'. Great food (they hire world class chefs, enjoyed there some of the fanciest foods I ever tasted), fishing, woods, lake, canoes, loons,... etc.

We stopped visiting after they banned smoking in the cabins (including the front porch), even though each cabin has an old style fireplace well supplied with big wooden logs (nights can get cold there even in August). Each log has about the same amount of dried plant material to burn into ashes as 3-4 months of my cigarettes. That was a deal breaker for me. I enjoyed sitting there for hours, sipping tea or coffee and puffing away while reading or playing chess on my laptop. After explaining the incoherence of the policy to the manager the first year I ran into the no-smoking sign in the cabin, she let the cabin keeper smuggle in an ashtray for me as the 'grace period' for that first year. That was my last vacation there.

Miller was pretty good on BOR last night. I didn’t care for his comment on Christie, but apparently a lot of people were making fun of Christie’s eyes Wed night.

Liked when he called Rubio nasty:

I am about two hours North of Portland and am unable to attend the rally; however, I will be attending the Republican caucuses on Saturday morning. I will be watching for any dirty tricks from the Rhinos but Paul LePage is the governor and he will be around on Saturday-he said he is going to try to attend as many of the 22 caucuses that he can.

Trump should make an ad of people who went to Trump U. and are now successful. Lines like “it was a great investment in my real estate career”. All he would need is 3 people in it. It would shut the whole issue down.

What was illegal that he did ?

Now wait just a minute. They could pull in additional GOP losers like, McCain, Dole, Cantor,

Will Willard thank Trump for supporting him 4 years ago? I wonder if Trump gave Willard’s campaign money 4 yrs ago? If so, he could say he donated to “Romney University” 4 years ago. Biggest ripoff ever !
