Great poet to be sure. But for her coterie, Dickinson’s impact on events was rather limited until the publication of the bulk of her material after her death.
Honestly it was just a glib comment.
I find both their diction generally incomprehensible.
Though with a gem here and there :)
I am suffering through american lit at college atm :)
And some of this is not easy for a non native speaker.
Political speeches are a lot easier :)
