Vintage Trump ...the media will play up the “profane” interpretation and create a furor ...and Trump will then explain that he meant that Mitt would have begged upon bended knee ...mere supplication; nothing profane about it.
Trump uses this type of leger de main over and over ...and the media is just like Charlie Brown getting ready to kick off and assuming Lucy won’t pull the football away at the last minute.
Or, as Trump was speaking to the fact that Romney was begging so hard - at the time he made the remark - it’s not a far stretch to think he meant it in context.
