I am referring to the constant drumbeat by Cruz that Trump has written checks to Democrats. He's given to everyone including Cruz.

He was a businessman and did what business people do. I know you think he'd have been a better man if he'd taken government paychecks his whole life like Cruz and Rubio but he decided to make a few billion instead.

If yes, my guess is that like some of us, he thought Hillary would be the weaker candidate in the general election, and could still hedge his bets somewhat in case she won. Apparently he did not give to Obummer?

Most businessmen want to, and can, succeed on their own and do not need to grease palms.
