The band Pussy Riot did not mock the Church. They barged into an Orthodox Church while it was holding Mass and proceeded to desecrate the Church service.

That is not accurate. They barged into the church when the service was not on to film themselves singing their silly song, but it mocked Putin and Patriarch in person and not god. Then they were kicked out and the church didn’t even call the police at that time. They were prosecuted only after the song became popular in the internet. Guilty of making people laugh at Putin and the head of ROC.
