I can’t stand Oreilly and even that is an understatement!
But, this subject is something I know a lot about and my instinctive reaction is “to hell with Bill Oreilly AND his X!!!!”
There is a tragedy here and it’s these two teen aged children created by two selfish self possessed people,

Well, that was a hint to BOR last night that he better worship at Trump’s feet or else Trump might out him on air on his own show.... that’s how Trump controls people and the media. They are terrified of him...
To a large degree, they have it coming. Everything needs a counterbalance, and the media by and large has none.

There’s a conflict emerging between Bill O’Reilly’s core beliefs about responsible parenthood and the picture that emerged from a Gawker report about a battle with his ex-wife over custody of his two children. According to transcripts obtained by the website, a forensic examiner in the case testified that O’Reilly had said that he occasionally went “ballistic” around the house, a situation that he might seek to defuse by “hitting a tree or yelling and moaning.” Also according to this examiner, O’Reilly’s daughter alleged that he once grabbed her mother, Maureen McPhilmy, by the neck and “dragged” her down some stairs; that O’Reilly told her that her mother was an “adulterer”; and that O’Reilly was an absentee father. (O’Reilly has issued a denial of the allegations through his lawyer).
If indeed O’Reilly hasn’t been a constant presence in his kids’ life, perhaps it was because he’s been too busy lecturing the world on how to be a parent and spouse. Here is a best-of compilation of some of O’Reilly’s written musings on these topics from his massive authorial oeuvre.

If he got married at 47 and is now 66, he got married 19 years ago. He was married for 15 years—the article doesn’t say how long ago he got divorced.
Billy was auditioning for Meg’s job last night.
He was first to interview after the debate, and he led up to the debate. Was that a first for him? Personally, I was not impressed.
And just as a counterpoint, isn’t it lovely to see Donald Trump with his children, well raised and showing a wonderful relationship with their father and no doubt their mother.

True, but I think this decision came from the kid’s hearts.
It’s pretty easy to see that O’Reilly is pretty much not good at personal relations.
Makes sense if he treats them the way he does everyone else...with condescending self-righteous contempt and denigration.

Does anyone think with his massive narcissistic ego that he would have time to spend with mere children? You know, the kind of people who would be considered to actually be his peers?
The oldest is a girl named Madeline, I believe. Maybe he had twins later.
