BOR was 47 when he married.
Well that and maybe not been a philanderer. Fox News had to pay out big to the female producer who he was stalking.
I guess Maureen finally got a belly full and left Bill for a Long Island police detective who she subsequently married. BOR then made a big contribution to the Police Dept and tried to parlay it into getting the Detective set up and fired. It was a big scandal and BOR barely escaped criminal charges.
I met BOR at a book signing once. He could barely be bothered to look up when you handed him the book. His off screen persona is distant and Patrician. He’s not the jocular fellow you see on TV. I would not even describe him as pleasant.
