I've always argued that we need skilled immigrants. For over a decade.

For my trouble, I have been called a "traitor," an "open borders lover," and even received death threats (public and private).

Actually, I don’t want any immigrants. I’ve repeated that all over this thread and elsewhere. There should be a 2 decade moratorium while THESE current legal immigrants are assimilated.

That said, I do think there’s a distinction between a permanent immigrant AND one with a 3 year permit to be in the country.

I don’t want either right now.
