Not hard to fathom at all. Cruz went off the deep end a few weeks ago. Or, it could be the “real” Cruz we’re seeing now.

You know there is actual Video of Becks radio program, not just audio. Glenn Beck was Skypeing from CPAC to Pat, Stu, Jeffy. I imagine the SS viewed that and the visual showed he was joking with his producer.

Only a couple minutes long, but it covers the context of the exchange.
One thing I noticed, it wasn’t Stu who said “those would be some big shoes”
Anybody that would say the “stabbing wouldn’t stop” on a national radio show needs to be visited if not the SS then medical personnel. Beck’s always been a hypocrite with his moron trivia bit, where he attempts to humiliate convenience store employees as an example.
Glenn Beck is mentally unstable. I actually fear for Ted Cruz’s physical safety more than Donald Trump..because I think Beck is the kind of person who would harm Cruz if he is not the nominee, he is THAT invested in him..I really truly hope that Beck gets the help he needs
Actually, the quote IN CONTEXT was "THEY say I could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and my followers wouldn't care." He was quoting what some media huckster said, denigrating his supporters. TWO LITTLE WORDS - THEY SAY - that make a world of difference.

I listened to it live and was sure he was talking about Trump. After hearing it again, it’s POSSIBLE he was talking about Stu (Squealer) because Stu was chiming in giving him crap about saying “if I was sitting in their shoes” instead of ‘standing in their shoes’.
But, after all the venom, word twisting, and out of context bullcrap that Beck has spewed about Trump, I really don’t feel bad about seeing his balls caught in the ringer over this, although I’d begrudgingly say I don’t think he was really threatening Trump.
And note, I’m NOT talking about legit policy disagreements with Trump. I’m taking about going on and on about the KKK, the “shoot someone in the street” comments, etc...
Dana Loesch also called out Breitbart.com, which I think she referred to as BreitTrump.com — she started in on some guy named John Nolte and said some really nasty nasty things about the guy, and his sausage fingers, and something about how the guy digs things up all day that are always wrong.
Loesch then demanded a portable mic so she could storm the Breitbart booth down the aisle at CPAC and confront the workers there!
Apparently Beck isn’t the only one who’s into making bizarre comments & threats.
And THIS would be a huge factor in why I wouldn’t recommend attending CPAC to anyone these days - it’s been taken over by freaks who are only there for self-promotion and will do anything to make their name stand out among second-tier ppl.
I have agreed with Beck on a lot of issues, but lately he has definitely been out the box, so to speak. I wish the old Glenn Beck would return, for his sake and the sake of his listeners, of which I am not anymore. I'll hear him sometimes, but not like I used to.
The way Beck is unhinged about Trump now is the same way he was unhinged about Newt last time. I mean off the wall bonkers. I keep trying to figure it out, maybe some sort of father figure repudiation or something.
Interesting - was he claiming the Rapture is close enough to happen in the next Presidency or was he suggesting Ted is somehow a divine leader?

Guilt by association is not a great idea. Cruz should dissociate himself from the histrionic and asinine Beck post haste, however.

I have seen lots of versions of God’s name but have yet to see Him referred to as Scyncro.
