Ted Cruz's new national spokesman hired an illegal immigrant from Australia to work for the California Republican Party in 2007, Jennifer Kerns at The Blaze reports.
The illegal, Michael Kamburowski, who sued the federal government after being jailed for visa violations, brought aboard a Canadian through the controversial H-1B visa program that technology companies often use to displace American workers, The San Francisco Chronicle reported in 2007.
Cruz's campaign announced Wednesday that it had hired the spokesman, Ron Nehring. He replaced Rick Tyler, who was fired after promoting a video that falsely raised questions about Marco Rubios faith.
Nehring, 45, once headed the California Republican Party and was a member of the Republican National Committee. He also unsuccessfully ran for lieutenant governor of California.
Kerns notes that in March 2007, as chairman of the California GOP, Nehring hired Kamburowski as chief operating officer, according to the Chronicle.
Kamburowski came to the United States in 1995 on a tourist visa. That year, he began working as a vice president of Americans for Tax Reform, the Washington-based group headed by Grover Norquist...

And Trump hires illegals all the time. Your point???
Trump hired illegals to build Trump Tower (then threaten to have them deported when they demanded proper wages for their work) not to mention all the Mexican illegals he used to build that golf course in Florida. Why don’t you make multiple posts about those little details?
The Cruz campaign is run by morons.
Is this an allegation or proven in a courtroom?
Because your boy and Marco pissed and moaned about Trump having illegals working in his hotel in Florida. His answer was not good enough for Ted or Marco. So, when I see hypocrisy, I will comment on it. As an aside, doesn’t the “well he did it too” defense get old? I mean, Cruz is supposed to be pure and never makes mistakes.
I’m sure Jennifer Kerns at The Blaze has received her pink slip for reporting this by now.
Hey man, it’s California. Half the population is illegal.
Get back to me when you have any evidence that Ted Cruz regularly hired illegals like Trump continued to do.
I think both of them never hired illegals directly and left it up to staffers or those who worked for them.
The fact is that one cannot call one for saying they did something when the other did.
Trump hired an illegal to work as a top employee at a Republican political agency?
I've seen 2000 pound bulls put out less crap than that
ROTFLMAO
My next door neighbor haired illegals and then went on to sell sex slaves.
See how that works you say something stupid and others can.
he did she did.
Why don’t you do the same. Show the evidence that Trump regularly hires illegals. The only incident in question is the hotel in Florida. I suppose the head of multiple hotels and convention centers have enough time to go to each hotel and hire workers including maintenance and house keeping. Once again, what are you smoking Joe?
They’ve got a nasty anti-Trump ad out in PA about the illegals a Trump contractor used for Trump Tower and the million dollar fine Trump paid.
But then they say they talked to several construction workers on the new Post Office job who said they came into the country illegally.
It said Trump makes his money on the backs of illegals, you can’t trust him.
First of all, are the ones who came in illegally still illegal? Secondly, I saw this ad in PA and my brother also saw it tonight in California so it’s a nationwide pitch probably funded by GOP.
Cruz’s SPOKESMAN hired an illegal alien as opposed to DONALD TRUMP hired illegal aliens to work at his what ever in Florida?????????????????
No double standard here. is there?
