Rosie is low class and unpleasant, but she's not a monster.

I whole heartedly agree, though I detest what Rosie and her ilk stand for. She made the statement just at random. Political correctness takes no prisoners. One could say this of some of the lefties who fall foul of PC

Hoist with their own petard.

That’s great.

My oldest son was diagnosed with Asperger’s back in 2001 or 2002.

I don’t care for people who take enough offense at some tasteless humor to get all bent out of shape. Those people make life more miserable than it already is.

Life isn’t meant to be all candy and rainbows. Suffering is an important part of it. Humor is merely pointing at the pain and laughing in its face, which is a large portion of improving the human condition.

Here’s some more tasteless humor about suffering:

Jesus was put up on the cross. He was groaning from the pain, with the nails and the crown of thorns. His female disciples and the Apostle John were there, watching in horror.

Suddenly, Jesus looked out and yelled: “John! John! Come to me John!”

John approached the cross, but was beaten back by the Roman soldiers.

15 minutes later, Jesus raised His head again and said quietly “John. Please John, come here to me. I have to tell you something...” He trailed off.

John struggled to get to the cross, but was once again rebuffed by Roman legionaries.

A soldier stabbed Jesus’s side with a spear, bring Him that much closer to death.

10 long, torturous minutes later, Jesus’s eyes half-opened and He began whispering, “John... John...”

John made a mad dash to the foot of the cross, yelling “WHAT IS IT LORD? PLEASE TELL ME! PLEASE!” while soldiers grabbed at him.

Jesus: “John... John...”

“I can see your house from here.”

spectrum disorders?

What on earth are they?.....I think they are asked what color is this? (Red) and they say “Blue”. But I don’t know, in this culture anymore.

I know, right?

Back when I was growing up, there was autism where the child couldn’t talk, rocked back and forth, and banged his head against the wall, then there was every other child, some who were brats and others who were fairly normal.

Then, when I grew up, a new phenomenon called “hyperactivity” appeared. Strangely, the hyperactive children behaved just like the brats from my generation.
This new generation had TV as their babysitters, and the bratty ones were kind of replaced by the hyperactive ones. Since they were sick instead of just bratty, they got medication instead of butt-whippings.

Some years later, hyperactivity got renamed to ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), then they took out a letter/word to make it ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

Then, video games became the new babysitters, with amoral interactivity replacing passive observation as entertainment.

Near that point in time, a brand new phenomenon appeared to afflict children - Asperger’s Syndrome. This was a new disorder that was for some reason classified in the same family of neurological disorders as autism, except that the children so afflicted could talk, think, and possess fine motor control while performing certain tasks.

Now, in order to stress that it is a disease and not a behavioral problem, this Asperger’s Syndrome is referred to “being on the autism spectrum”.

And of course, like hyperactive/ADHD/ADD children that have strangely vanished, they have no experience with corporal punishment even though their behavior is (by our antiquated standards) atrocious. And they are medicated with mind-altering drugs into a stupor to blunt this behavior.

“Although I like how Trump treats the media do you seriously think this organization would have let her remarks slide if there was no Trump?”

No, but I do think they would have watered it down and not used the S word. I see the upswing in vulgarity as temporary until the enemy is subdued. Just outright get in their faces and treat them like dirt and more importantly RIDICULE them..Im cool with that.
