Then why is Trump winning in the two closed states this evening?

Fractured vote. This is why Trump has led all along.

Trump Wins Were People Actually Vote

And Bernie wins where white people vote.

This is the unspoken dynamic of this race. Hillary will be running (if she gets that far) as the first explicitly anti-white major party candidate - and she will be crushed.

I think caucuses can be rigged also, ours wasn’t but I can certainly see how it could happen, and the establishment GOP is certainly out to destroy Trump. I think they would be perfectly willing to cheat if they had the opportunity. The reason I am concerned about this, is because in so many of these elections that Cruz won, the polls showed Trump significantly ahead; that does make one wonder. I suppose too, that the constant slander of Trump from all sides is taking its toll.

Kansas is a closed caucus, meaning only registered Republicans can vote - no Democrats and no independents.

Not so overwhelming. The states that Trump one were close. Cruz won the overall delegate count for today because they were close.

As for Cruz winning closed primaries, there is a very good reason for that. Dems are voting in the R primaries because they feel safe that Hillary will win her primary. Instead of wasting their vote, they vote for the R that Hillary is most likely to beat. It happens every presidential election.

Trump wins the open voter states where Democrats can vote for the Republican nominee.

Well, they can do that in the general election too.

Hillary is not worried about Cruz in the least. She’ll blow him out in a landslide.

Yes, and then they switch back to their party and vote against they guy they voted for in the primary because they thought he would be easier to defeat in the general.

The polls say otherwise. Of course, if the Trump voters stay home in a snit, she will.

But they can not choose the Republican nominee in a closed state.
