Really think habit of doing nothing but posting insults at Trump is going to convince anyone to vote FOR your candidate?

This is where Team Cruz lost me last fall. They started in with these Leftist tactic on Carson. Told me quite a bit about how politically inept their campaing was at reacing anyone not all ready in the Cruz Choir.

As I suggested at the time, stick to making the case for a candidate and leave off the hyperbolic tirades and childish insult postings. No one, not all ready on your side, is are not going to be convinced to vote for Cruz using the Leftist debate tactics of personal attack, lies and hyperbole.

That the Team Campaign continues to use these tactics suggest to me they are very poorly suited to run a General Election campaign.

CPAC is no longer Conservative.

From Paul Ryan getting a standing ovation to CPAC inviting the LogCabin (”yuck”) homosexuals, they showed their true Rainbow Colors.

Really? Having the GOPE candidate attack his penis size was “reason” in Wills world?

Don’t blame the target for shooting back.

We have no idea how big the CPAC spectacle was going to be. It was likely going to be massive and had an 8:30 AM slot so nobody would hear and likely got wind of what exactly would take place.

Who needs CPAC anymore? It is just a bunch of National Review and Paulbots acting like they are the voice.

[Khruschev] caved to "soft spoken" Kennedy and removed his missiles from Cuba.

No, you've got it all wrong. Kennedy was the one who caved by agreeing to remove our missiles from Turkey.

When Kennedy took office: US missiles in Turkey. No missiles in Cuba.

When LBJ took office: No missiles in Turkey. No missiles in Cuba. It was a huge victory for the Soviet Union.

Penis size ? Serious

I might take this neWwCruz attack line if it wasn't for the fact Trump was responding to an attack. That they continue to use it kind of suggest they are pretty inept politicians who will not be able to win anything outside dark red state.

Do not win preaching to the choir.

There are many conservatives who resent the establishment now. Those conservatives want true change, not more rhetoric. The GOP did little to stop Obama, which has fueled enormous anger, not yet understood by leaders or the media. A storm is coming, which could change politics as usual. Clinton represents more of the same, forced down our throats. Someone in the Republican Party is the only hope to change the direction the country has been going.

Don’t blame the “bellowing child” for having to fight tooth and nail the other candidates and the moderator.

Here where Team Cruz keeps losing. They simply refuse to have and accurate honest discussing and instead what to keep bellowing their cheap attack lines.

Do not win elections preaching to the choir.

Cruz’ filibuster, govt. shutdown, call-out of Mitch, Lone Ranger stand AGAINST ethanol, and his opposition to his then boss 43 has earned him strong “dislike” from George W is clear evidence he is not a DC insider.

And all of us were pleased with Robert’s nomination. How do pin that on Cruz ?

I’ll support Trump, but prefer Cruz.

Yes! Very good point. Beating JEB was epic!

We started with what, 16 candidates?

Most where RINO/GOPe in some form or another. Now all gone except Rubio and Kasich. And even though I’ll get flack for this, Rubio is not so GOPe as most of the others who have left.

My initial pick last year was Walker and/or Cruz. As Trump powered on, despite the cringe-worthy statements (or so I thought) I began to take another look.

He was saying what I KNEW to be true. By the time we had the Paris attacks, and then San Bernardino, Trump, with his common sense call to temporarily halt Muslim refugees into the USA, I had been won over.

National suicide is simply something I’m not interested in, despite the sophomoric call for “fairness, diversity and humanity”. None of these things can override the safety our government has to provide each and every one of us.

Despite the myth about the so-called Religion of Peace, the true believers of Islam wants us to convert, be subjected or be dead.

Trump was the only one to see through this kabuki theater and call it as it is. He suffered a lot of flake from the Left calling him a fascist, Nazi, KKK’er etc. for it. I’ll be damned if protecting our own people is racist!

(Maybe we should start a petition to ask for our money back!)

You should start a movement a bumper sticker movement. Myth can afford it.

I’m with you. Listening to George Will as he “burps” his words out is very nauseating. What he burps out is the typical establishment plate.

Listen to Judge Pirro’s “Opening Statement” and then listen to Limbaugh’s interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

Limbaugh is not fit to carry the Judge’s make-up kit.

If Trump can’t get the nom I’m seeing a Ryan/Cruz unity ticket. No way GOPe give the top of ticket to Cruz. Sad to see Cruzers fooled by Pastor Ted into giving the GOPe the rope to do in conservatism for good.

"Khrushchev wasn't effective?"

"Of course not. He caved to "soft spoken" Kennedy and removed his missiles from Cuba".

"On October 27, President Kennedy dispatched his brother Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy to make an offer to the Soviet ambassador to the U.S., Anatoly Dobrynin, in the hope of defusing the crisis. Kennedy offered Dobrynin two things in exchange for Soviet removal of the Cuban missiles: (1) the U.S. would publically pledge never to invade Cuba and (2) the U.S. would secretly withdraw missiles from Turkey. The U.S. refused to publically admit to removing the Turkish missiles because it did not want to appear weak. The Soviet Union accepted this offer the next day."

Sounds like Khrushchev got the better part of the deal, shoe-banging and all. (If it was a great deal for the US, why was Kennedy too embarrassed to admit removing the missiles from Turkey?)

Reagan has words for the Conserachildren in the Purity Choir of Conservative Media. This idea that if they just keep screaming they will get a 100%er elected to do everything they want is a fools notion.

Reagan:

“A man 75-80% on my side is a valuable friend and ally, not my enemy:

I know this falls on deaf ears with 100%ers but the fact remains, We are a Constitutional Republic that rests on the notion that the people’s Representatives in Government know how to compromise and negotiate.

This feeling that Cruz will ride into DC and dictate the Conserakids 100%er terms to everyone else there is simply wishful thinking. What is more probably is Cruz would be a GOP Carter. Carter was the same sort of religious puritan who went to DC and assumed he would dictate his political dogmas to everyone there. The record shows how badly that idea failed.

“Conservative” politicians talk a good game and then go to DC and accomplish nothing. After 30 years of fail, it is time to try another solution. The winning candidate is “GASP” going to have to cut DEALS! And some times those deals require..compromise!!!

Another fail point for the Conserakids is they think only as far as the election. Then once they win their purity candidates go to DC and fail against the inertia of the DC/Media political machine. 1994-2000-2010-2014 are all example of where this “Next election” mindset has failed.

Trump is merely the 1st wave of a multi wave assault. Cruz might do for a follow up wave, he is not a 1st wave candidate.

The 1st wave job in any assault is to shatter the defenses and open the road for the follow up waves. No matter how flawed you think the vessel is, Trump is the best 1st wave political assault team we have had to hand in my lifetime.

We need to use Trump for all he is worth to shatter the corrupt, “my party right or wrong” mindset that grips vast swaths of the electorate. Break that inertia, get the people thinking outside the party label box and real change is possible. Do not an we slide into a stagnate European style decline that will not end in my lifetime. Cruz shares that agenda point but is not as well equipped by background and media following to achieve that break through as Trump

We either win this now or we have little chance of ever doing it again politically. Once we win we must relentlessly stay on the attack election wave after election wave until we are dead.

I am really not willing to leave this fight to my kids and grand-kids. We have let the ship of state drift since Reagan in the hands of the “smart people”. We failed and most redeem that failure.

This is our generation’s “go” time
