hey good post.
I gotta admit, you must be protestant because as a catholic our masses are kind of boring compared to protestant ones I’ve been to.
actually with the lack of priests many churches import foreigners.
Last time I went to church in the little town north of here, I think the priest was Cambodian. I couldn’t understand a friggin word he said.

Since when do they have debates with 6 Russians calling the President names and tearing apart his life? That is the point. Seems that Vladimir respects him.

Thanks for the thread A.B. I am sickened by the unfairness of media accounts of Trump wins in 2 larger states (Kentucky and Louisiana) against Cruz’s wins in backwater Maine and Kansas. The media is so anxious to bury Trump. I hope Trump gets enough delegates going forward to make a clean win of it.

Even if Cruz beats him the Establishment will never allow Cruz to represent us either.

And that detestable Willard...what a consummate r-a-t

Just like he bellowed the loudest to build what he has, or he was just lucky to win all of those contract and get them done under budget and under time. Right, just keep telling yourself that and that Romney really didn’t lose.

I was very impressed with Cruz’s wins in Kansas and Maine.

I wouldn’t call any state backwater.

This is a race. It is exciting!

In my case, I would easily vote for either in the general election. I do think more people would vote for Trump than Cruz, but there’s so much in Hillary and the democrats to run against.

I hope that regardless of who becomes the nominee, they fight hard and truthfully against Mrs. Clinton.

McCain and Romney didn’t go after Obama hard enough, less they be called racist.

Will Rush withstand the temptation to be liked this morning by the host and staff...or will he tell it like it is?

It is live not taped. I predict conservatives here won’t like it.

Will Rush conclude Cruz can win the nomination AND the general election?

I still have issues with whom Cruz has to be beholden to...GS for one example. Their investments only stay up with low la or costs...

Really? "Shoe-banging incident: Nikita Khrushchev's shoe-banging incident occurred during the 902nd Plenary Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly held in New York in 1960." Khrushchev wasn't effective?

"U.S. military expenditures are roughly the size of the next nine largest military budgets around the world, combined."

If you are the 800 pound gorilla, there is no need to be nice. As Obama has proven, making nice makes us appear weak. And THAT itself is dangerous.

Phone rings at Rush Limbaugh’s office.

Voice: Mr. Limbaugh, Chris Wallace wants to speak with you.

Rush: Sure, put him on.

The men exchange pleasantries.

Chris: Rush, I just had a conversation with Roger and Mr. Murdoch and Roger wants you to appear on my show Sunday.

Rush: Oh?

Chris: Well, as you have heard, we are cutting loose from Rubio. Mr. Murdoch has decided that Fox should get behind Ted now. We think his votes for TPA and the Corker bill reveal him to be a team player. Mr. Murdoch appreciates the fact that you hide those votes from your listeners.

Also, Mr. Murdoch wants to extend his warmest regards to you and his appreciation for the way you took him into your confidence at the private meeting, and, uh, Mr. Murdoch would like to keep the off-the-record conversation private, and, uh…

Rush: Sure, be glad to help you out.

Chris: Well, Rush, you will have about eight minutes and it would be nice if you could prepare some intense 10 seconds or so Cruz promotion spots, about three of them, you know, what you do constantly on your show almost everyday. Ted will be able to incorporate them into ads that he can blanket Florida and the nation with, and it will help him out.

We’ll need one where you mention Reagan and Cruz together, one where you mention Abe Lincoln and Cruz together, and one where you state how much he is hated by us, uh, the establishment.

Rush: Sure, Chris, be sure to tell Mr. Murdoch that I will alert my millions of listeners often during the next two days about my appearance.

We have a priest from India.

And you’re right....
Catholic masses are boring and this past Christmas season I went to a Baptist Christmas program and Lord it was lovely.

This small choir, about twelve people, sang Handel’s Messiah.

I’d complained about it to Father Tom, who I found out writes music and Lord we are also singing two of his songs at mass today.

I am writing a book about priests,,,,,heh.

No, I’m not calling it Thorn Birds II but heh....

....if you only knew.

Anyway, in the book I launch into a rant about what a stupid idea priesthood is and what was God thinking when he came up with that idea?

A man pledges to be chaste?

Men are NOT chaste....women aren’t either but they can handle it better than men.

Anyway, you got to read the book. It will be a best seller.

Great essay Bray. I totally agree. Hopefully, the voters will last a bit longer with Trump and overcome the incessant attacks from GOPe, Willard, bathhouse Marco, and media.

Ah, but a debate or a rally is NOT a ‘serious discussion’. It’s a display of one-upping your opponent.

For dealing with the leaders, you’re going to let them think how wonderful they are, how you love what they’re doing, and you get them to agree with what you want. It’s called the art of the deal.

When they booked Rush they probably thought Rubio would have won 5 states by now and that Rush not Marcobot could present Rubio’s case better than Rubiot.

Rush is one of the few who can critic Trump and not seem like a paid shill or bimbo.

May not be far off target.

Likely more subtle, though.

" he was just lucky to win all of those contract and get them done under budget and under time."

I wouldn't call four bankruptcies and numerous defaults "lucky".

Thanks, Alas Babylon.

Haven’t been here in years. Interesting to find I’m still being pinged. Eight years is a long time and a lot has changed around here.

Anyway, these are interesting times, so here I am. And it’s a good thing too. I gave up television five years ago. This thread may help to keep me updated on the latest dishonest media memes.

Looking forward to Rush interview, something he rarely does – willingly walk into the belly of the beast. Should be fun.

Thanks again.
