Trump may not be Goldwater and he may not be Reagan. But the way the Establishment is treating Trump is exactly the way they treated Goldwater and Reagan.
I'm all in for Trump. He upsets the right people.
Trump is loyal to his people and vicious to his enemies, so I highly doubt he will do a 180 and govern to make establishment happy and ignore his supporters
Going to early vote for Trump today in Florida. Time to get rid of lawyer politicians. Give a non politician a chance. Stick it to Washington and their donner infested candidates. And that includes Cruz. Pay back once elected.
Jeff Sessions is counseling Trump. That seals it for my doubts.
Besides which he is loveable and Cruz is all facade.
I like authenticity.
I agree- I remember all of the constant insults and scare tactics used by both sides against Reagan and the treatment of Trump is incredibly similar. They also kept harping on about his age, even though he ran circles around them!
The crazier the insults, the more certainty I have that he is on the ‘right’ track!
It was evil, watching Nelson Effing Rockefeller, richer than Croesus and mad because his own effort fell short (even with the New York Slimes thumping the tub for him vigorously for 10-12 months before the convention), using his courtesy minority-report face time on national television to denounce Goldwater's delegates in vile and bitter language, comparing them to "fascists" and "Nazis" -- none of that PC stuff, and it was 30 years before Godwin -- to their faces, to thunderous booing from the delegates. Gave 'em the finger, too (tho' that might have been another convention, another year). All class, that Rocky, and now the richerati complain about Trump?
Jeanine Pirro de-testiculated Mittens over the weekend, there's a thread with link here on FR.
