Friday on CNBC, when Democratic presidential front runner Hillary Clinton was asked if she could get prosecuted as a result of the FBI investigation into her handling of classified material during her tenure as secretary of state, she laughed as she said, “No, not at all. This is the same security review that has been going on since last spring.”
Partial transcript as follows:
HARWOOD: “Let me ask about quickly about email. Your Republican opponents have begun to suggest you could be prosecuted or go to jail as a result of this issue. When the average person out there hears there’s an FBI investigation and some guy who worked for her has gotten immunity from prosecution, shouldn’t they be tempted to conclude maybe she could get prosecuted?
CLINTON: [laughs] “No, not at all. This is the same security review that has been going on since last spring. I’m happy that everybody now has been cooperating and giving information because I think that will finally end this and show that only appropriate steps were taken. I know the Republicans are engaging in a lot of wishful thinking, but this is not something anyone should be worried about.”

Keep telling yourself and your Dhimmicrat buds that sweetheart...we need you to keep up the delusional facade just long enough that it’s too late for your side to organize a replacement effort when you get perp walked.
The arrogance of that statement is astounding.

Professional investigators who actually do security reviews know this isn’t one.
Look what the American electorate put in the office of President in 2008 and 2012. Look at Hillary's and Bernie's massive following. Look at the illegal aliens being encouraged and allowed to vote.
Nobody should be surprised. This woman has been spinning high crimes for decades.
If nothing ends up coming from these investigations of HRC, you will have been correct when you asserted that we are no longer a nation of laws. However, I believe the Clintons finally have run out of luck. The word is that HRC is as dismissive of the email issue behind the scenes as she is on camera. But that Bill Clinton is apoplectic over it. That Bubba is nervous tells me a great deal.
A.B. Stoddard (no conservative, she) from The Hill magazine pointed out on television that in this kind of situation the FBI doesn’t do “security reviews,” they do security investigations.
Stoddard said that when this was pointed out to Clinton by a reporter the old hag changed her wording and began referring to “a security inquiry.”
Who on earth can consider voting for that kind constant lying and back-filling...especially after the first eight years of it.
Details, details.
The FBI has confirmed it is criminal and not only a security review. Harwood should have followed up with that.

I am of the firm belief that this is one of the reasons Bill looks so bad lately. He’s worried ‘sick’ ... literally. Supposedly, advisors who have been with the Clintons for a long time & Bill have been urging Hilly since the summer to get a criminal defense attorney & she laughs it off & won’t do it. I think Hilly overstepped more than badly this time ... at a minimum, what she did is so agregious that she won’t be able to keep her minions out of trouble (Huma, Mills, Pagliano, Sullivan, Kennedy, et al) & they will eventually realize that they need to save themselves (Pags already has). This will not bode well for Hilly.
I despise Harwood. He is the ultimate hack.
I think you are correct, but for a different reason than you offer.
IMO, she is definitely beyond her shelf life and an increasing number of the powerful who supported her in the past are scrambling to disengage.
Seems to me more likely she has O's pardon in her back pocket. This based on the theory she used her FBI files, money and credible threats to obtain irrefutable evidence of, to say the least, his ineligibility.
