Mitt Romney won’t rule out accepting GOP nomination at contested convention
Washington Times ^ | 3/6/2016 | S.A. Miller

Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, refused Sunday to rule out becoming the nominee again this year at a brokered convention, though he insisted he couldn’t imagine that happening.

“I don’t think anyone in our party should say, ‘Oh no, even if the people of the party wanted me to be president, I would say no to it.’ No one is going to say that,” Mr. Romney said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Funny, I’ll rule out voting Republican in 2016 if the asshats in the GOP-e succeed with nominating the two-time LOSER Romney in some sort of brokered convention.

You’d think if it came down to that, both the Trump and Cruz people would have quite the conversation about how to move forward without the RINOs.

well just MAYBE trump and cruz should realize they are fighting for something FAR bigger than either one of them

I love Cruz, but i’d be thrilled with the VP slot to Trump.

both MEN need to start acting like the word MAN.

“I. Will vote Bernie. I really will.”

And that’s exactly what they want. Now is the time to fight.

Don’t tell me that.

That really stresses me that he would even go.
there.

I hate the elitist pigs in DC so much. Darrell Issa was so smug yesterday when he blatantly was calling for a brokered convention.

I hope all these new people voting for Trump also boot out some sitting congressmen

Why no polls about this? Bc Romney gets no support, I’m sure.

The very best thing we can do is take the wind out of their sails and remove the element of surprise by letting everyone know what the plan is so they have to deny it over and over on record and then be forced to defend this under-handed move.

I’ve already posted it on other websites.

Under the current RNC rules, not that those actually matter to the GOP-e, the candidate MUST have won at least eight (8) states in order to be able to be the nominee! Again, I have no doubt that they will ignore their own rules to avoid nominating Trump or Cruz, but still they are going to do everything they can to LOSE this election, if Trump or Cruz gets the nomination!!

If the nominee isn’t the top delegate winner, and they try some horse-fuckery at the National Convention, I will forever be a third party voter!

I have only voted for a few Democrats in my life - Ann Richardson as Governor of Texas was the highest ever. I can not in good conscience ever vote for a Democrat again, since they are all Communists now! But, I will not vote for Communist-lite, and if the RNC change their rules to allow what THEY want, instead of what the people want, then they are doing the same Communist activities of the DNC, and I will forever be done with them - PERIOD!!

And you can say what you want about how then I am causing the Democrats to win, because that would be a LIE! The RNC/GOP-e caused the Democrats to win!

Does it say what year they had to win those 8 states in?

Rush Limbaugh said that rule 40 can be changed any time they (the gop) want.
(including the day before the convention)

And that is why I mentioned the RNC doing some kind of horse-fuckery to screw We the People out of our choice.

If they do that, then they are no better than the Democrats voting NO on God three times, on National TV, and then “declaring” a “yes” vote actually won!

The GOP-e is NOT going to allow Trump nor Cruz to be the nominee - I will guarantee it! Because either of them will break-up their good-ole-boy control in the DC insiders club! I hate Marco Rubio, but if he wins the most delegates, I will vote for him. But, if Romney somehow matriculates into the nomination, I am done with he GOP!

They can change the rules one day before the convention, if they want.
Landslide for Democrats, if they do.
Nobody would vote for any Republican.
I would vote straight independent ticket.

It is as clear as the nose on your face.....Donald J. Trump For POTUS and Ted Cruz as his VP running mate. The “dream” ticket that will destroy...not only, Hillary Clinton massively...but it will also take down the entire Democrat Party....politically!!!

Republicans really only have one choice, Trump or Romney. The GOP has subbed Mitt into the establishment lane and if they can just get to a brokered convention, it’s a slam dunk.

The GOPe has pollsters and big data analysts watching the millions of Republican voters reactions to this trial balloon by two time loser Mitt. They want to stop Trump not nominate Mitt. Anyone who's a relatively normal Republican will do as a placeholder.

After the first Star Wars prequel came out George Lucas wrote Jar Jar Binks out of the second and third episodes.

Mitt is Binks. He's done like dinner.

Ritt Momsey and his Mormon Tabernacle Choir have no chance to be elected president by The People. He is so far out of touch with the real world; he could’t bend down far enough to tie his shoes. We do not need such a lofty man , he is an accursed zit on the arse of the body politic.

Ritt destroyed himself by attacking Trump, who this evening is leading Cruz 41 to 17 in Mississippi, thanks to Ritt Momsey. Trump couldn’t have a better endorsement than to be attacked by Ritt Momsey.
