In CA you go to the DMV Site. They have many options for Vanity Plates such as Environmental (this is CA after all) and other causes.

You put the phrase / word (up to 7 characters) you want on the Application and the System checks to see if it is already taken.

In my case, I put in TRUMP (it was taken), TRUMP 16 (it was taken) and then I tried TRUMP 45 (45th President) and bingo.

If Trump doesn’t make it, it’s the thought that counts. If he does, I’ll have to pry the Plates off my Wife’s Car and see if I can sell them for a bunch of money. I doubt Mrs. K.C. would go for that though. #;^(

They are on Order, so I’ll probably know if Trump will be the Nominee by the time they get here. Just a $50 Gamble.

There is actually a Website where you can put them up for Auction. You don’t really own the Plates, you just sign a release to another Party.

I’m sure the kid that got the first CA Plate that said PORSCHE made a fortune. He was driving a Toyota. LOL
