When nudged about accusations of Trump being a racist, Evers responded, "I haven't seen any proof of Donald Trump being a racist."Maybe a quarter to a third of Trump's contestants on Celebrity Apprentice were non-white, over the past ten years. Why would he do that if he were racist back then when he wasn't running? Nor did he cave in to PC to stop him from firing anyone who wasn't performing, regardless of color.

When Trump built Mara Lago in WPB it was the only luxury club in the region that allowed blacks and jews as members. Trump said he just didn’t think it was right to restrict membership.

The "racist" charges/assertions are unfounded, but facts don't matter!
The mere assertion when made by an African-American or better yet, by an African-American advocate group is all the evidence necessary.
