Asked for comment for this story, Trump, through his spokeswoman, sent this email to Yahoo News: “During the years I very successfully ran the casino business, I knew many high rollers. I assume Mr. LiButti was one of them, but I don’t recognize the name.”

If you’re a (certain) Republican candidate, everything you’ve ever said is open for challenge. You are responsible not only for everything you’ve ever said and done, but everything your parents have said and done, everything anyone who supports you has said and done, and everything that anyone you ever might have ever met has said and done.

If you’re a (certain) Democrat candidate, you can break as many laws as you want, laugh at getting a child rapist set free, say whatever you wish (because no one believes you anyway) and have a lifetime of questionable activities and NONE of that is open for discussion, ever.

I noticed the crowd waiting for Donny the Democrat Donor the other night in Florida.

Looked like a movie sequel in the making....

THE GOLDEN GOODFELLAS....complete with all the blonde bimbos you could find.

Bubba Clinton would have felt right at home. For more than a $100,000 reasons.

heh heh.

Guilt by association. I read the story and I found nothing I wouldn’t expect for a high roller in a casino.

Lets hear a secret tape of one of these meetings, then we will talk.

Because taking down our own front runner is a smart move so late into the election

We should be destroying Hillary or Bernie, not our own guy

Did you watch the Democratic debate last night? It was a great show that sells to the American public. It looked “presidential” nothing like the republican debate.

Our party has serious problems. The image we project is turning off moderates and even democrats who would vote for our candidate in the general. We can’t win with out them.

Do you want to win? Or do we want to destroy ourselves on silly ideology?

Is the correct form ‘Madam President’?

So Robert LiButti spends a bunch of money at your casino and that means you have “ties” to the MOB?

...

Non Story for the most part:

Trump was not held personally liable for the violations of his hotel, and there is no indication that he was ever questioned by state officials as part of their investigation.

Quote 1:

“I have heard he is a high roller, but if he was standing here in front of me, I wouldn’t know what he looked like,” Trump told the Philadelphia Inquirer in February 1991.

Quote 2:

“During the years I very successfully ran the casino business, I knew many high rollers. I assume Mr. LiButti was one of them, but I don’t recognize the name.”

I we were talking about a conservative I'd agree, Trump is a life long liberal who's politics has never been much different that Hillary's.

So was Donny the Democrat a Democrat when he donated to TED CRUZ?

Trump should have never donated to the Clinton crime family.

You build buildings in Manhattan, casinos in Atlantic City, and the mob will be in your orbit. People want to compare Reagan against Trump... Huh? Reagan was raised in Dixon, IL. Trump was was born and raised in NYC. The tone will be different OK?

Rubio and Cruz are putting their chips on the table to bid for a V.P. spot under Mitt Romney. Let’s see who repeats “Trump is the mob” the most.

Speaking of Rudy, does anyone think for one minute that if Trump had mob ties and was not on the straight and narrow, Guiliani would have anything to do with him. He’s knew him for 30 years, loves the guy, and will probably be his attorney general if Trump manages to get elected.

ITS TRUE---Donald is associated w/ The Mob....

I agree. I posted this to point out that Trump is going to get the Palin treatment, but he is from NYC. There will be “questionable characters” in his orbit over the years. Anyone who spent a lifetime in NYC will have had occasion to come in contact with less than elegant subject matter.
