If true, this is sheer insanity.

I play BF4 with some German guys, and to say they’re pissed is an understatement.

I’m sure the Muslims are appreciative, and will show how thankful they are in many ways.

I’m frankly (no pun intended) surprised that the turning point hasn’t happened already in Germany. You’d think banning sausage would do it. At least if I were a German, I would blow my top if I were told pork was off the menu.

“Now members of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU party are fighting to keep pork on the menu, insisting the consumption of pork is part of German culture.”

Typical leftist idiot to NOT have thought about consequences before ordering the import of Muslims.

The above noted fight to keep pork on the menu is probably the only thing I can agree with Merkel, and her CDU party on. As I read the article I was thinking “What is Germany without their sausages?”

Are you confirming this story is true? My understanding is that pork products make up a large part of the German diet, and I just don't see this story as being true.

If it is, it's a Godsend. This will probably be the straw that breaks the Camel's back.

I’m thinking of Wyatt Earp in “Tombstone” — “Well, are you going to do something about it? Or just stand there and bleeed?”

If ethnic Germans have given up their pork sausages, then the end is much closer than we ever thought.

Germans have been consuming various forms of pork since the days the Germanic tribes were pursuing wild boars through the forests for their daily fare. Perhaps Germans did not invent the keeping, slaughter, dressing out, processing and consumption of swine and pork products, but they certainly raised all these skills to art forms.

I remember there being a case several years ago where a Canadian was instructed by his boss not to eat ham or pork chops in front of his Muslim colleagues in the cafeteria because they might be "offended," so it doesn't surprise me that another country that's even more in the grip of Political Correctness than we are would try to make it official.

BEER IS NEXT!

Liberals would support Prohibition if it were brought back in the name of "inclusiveness" and multiculturalism.
