The Royal Australian Navy upgraded its Mk 13 Mod 4 launchers to fire SM-2 missiles and added 16 Mk 41 VLS cells forward of the Mk 13 to carry quad packs of ESSM (Evolved Sea Sparrow Missiles) on all six of its FFGs (of the Perry-class). The USN retired all its FFG-7 class ships without replacement. Dumb.
