and no, I don't believe Mexico will pay for it. The American buyers of goods and services will pay for it. That's how tariffs work.

He's not proposing to pay for it by tariff, but by controlling the monies they send back to Mexico, correcting our bad trade deal with Mexico, and by reducing illegals' intolerable burdens on our healthcare, educational and justice systems.

The tariff thing is to keep American companies from relocating to Mexico. He only has to do it to one or two companies before the rest of them stop going overseas.

Very well said. Normally Trump does not want to telegraph his negotiations and he has the is one DONE in he already has had every inch of our border measured and has accessed the cost of the Wall.

That he is going to subtract the cost of the wall from the bad trade balance with Mexico goes over everyones head. While Trump does not want to telegraph what is OBVIOUS, you still have reporters asking for lame details.

The details are obvious. OBVIOUS. Would not doubt if Trump started excavating for the wall in January 2017. Correct, that is January 2017 after he is sworn in.

Journalist need to stop asking how he is going to pay for the wall. It is so obvious and the questions make journalist look really stupid and act as if they are covering Presidential campaigns in the 1970’s.

Come on now......you can’t seriously believe that he has the authority to do any of that and getting it through congress would result in laughter.

Controlling the monies they send back!

This is not Cuba.

And as I said, the only people who pay for tariffs are the people who propose them. Having said that, sometimes they are worth it to level the field, but mostly not.
