John King and the CNN analyst now saying the “never Trump” people want Rubio and Kasich to stay in the race so that Trump never gets 1237 delegates. Bad idea. That will result in a disaster for the Republican party. I know I’m in the minority here, but I think that if Rubio and Kasich got out NOW, Cruz would mostly run the table from here on out. The advantage, for the “never Trump” people is that Cruz would then go to the convention with over 1237 delegates and it would be over with.

I think they have written off FL. NC is proportional, but no matter. The “expert”’s point was that the party needs to keep all the opponents in play, and nibble at the delegates in all the states that are not winner take all. The problem is that it will be obvious that Rubio and Kasich can’t win, so their ONLY purpose for staying in would be to block Trump. It would be deliberate disunity.
