Who cares? There are far more post graduates in the public and private sectors than all the universities combined.
We, the People, will prevail.
My favorite example of what you are talking about was on the Frasier show.
‘Frasier’ (Kelsey Grammar) a radio talk show psychiatrist was pranked over the telephone by two young radio humorists at his station into thinking a sculpture of him was being made for the National Museum of Great Thinkers, and he was persuaded to describe his body for the sculptor, over the air, particularly his backside.
I agree, but someone was trying to make a different point so I figured I’d ask. “:^)
Roger, some guy had tried to make a point about folks not being able to be fooled because of higher degrees.
That’s why I asked that.
I agree with you, but I like to ask questions that cause the person to rethink.
No worries and no offense taken. Point taken and well received.
Understood. No offense taken. Your point was well said and well received. Sleep easy and well. We’re on the same page, FRiend.
Thanks. Gave you a double reply based on your comments.
Later...
Great Roger. I agree. We are on the same page.
Good night.
Great question DO, and those stats are true I believe.
I’ll take a down to earth high school educated man or woman as a friend over any snobby PhD d*wad - every day of the week.
Highest % Post-graduates was Kasich, at 54%. Highest % College graduates was Carson, at 33%. Highest % Some college/Assoc. degree was Cruz, at 29%. Highest % of High School or less was Trump, at 29%. If you combine the top two and bottom two tiers Trump voters scored slightly higher than Cruz at the bottom, Carson a bit better than Kasich at the top, with Rubio coming in between, but closer to the top pair. I wish they'd subdivided it as less than HS vs. HS or GED, as I wouldn't deem them equivalent, but perhaps too few would have been in the former group to matter.
Lol!
I’m a long way from dumb or uneducated and I’m for Trump :-)
So are all my not-so-dumb friends.
I do know a few dummies voting for Hillary though.
(I also know someone who is very smart who is voting Hillary...I don’t know how to explain that)
I have known some idiot professors.
I like anyone who is willing to listen, provide information, and discuss the issues cordially.
I know what you mean though. People who are down to earth are good people.
Thank you, BTW.
Yes, keep it up. Maybe your candidate can win — the iditarod!
I guess it nets out to this - there are very intelligent people in my life who happen to be very real and down to earth as well. Then there are the smug ones we all run across, insufferable and closed minded who usually end up being libs.
I hear ya. I had one of those in my family.
Didn't Bernie Madoff know that also?
It sounds like he was involved in gun running. I’ve heard rumors that he was doing stuff for the CIA. It’s very sad what happened to him. Someone shot him in the head but it didn’t kill him. They said it was a robbery and never caught the shooter, but think it had something to do with his work.
Sadler lived another year or so after the shooting. But forever after he would get confused, his brain didn’t work as well. He would wander off sometimes and loved ones would find him in weird places.
None of this is in I’M A LUCKY ONE. He wrote it much earlier in his life. But it covers the military and the green berets and Sadler becoming a recording artist.
