Looking for info on African american voters for trump in last nights primary.
I heard numbers this morning that 85% of Mississippi voters self-identified as Evangelical, and 45% of those went for Trump.
Also that Trump did extremely well with white, non-college educated voters in Michigan.
And that (THIS is something!!)...Bernie Sanders got 30% of the BLACK vote in Michigan!

I’d be more interested in the number of “legal US Citizens” in Michigan who voted for...any candidate. Really, walkingfeather, I’d rather we stayed away from “protected class” politics and worked the issues. We should not allow the parties to use “divide and conquer” strategies.
BTW, I’m Chippewa/Potowatomi, 1/16th. I’ve never traded on my Indian heritage (like Faux-a-hontas Warren). I’m also Welsh/Irish, but those 15/16ths came over in the Mayflower. I am a citizen of the US since birth!
I do not think Africans or hyphenates are allowed to vote in our elections.
Just Americans.
According to the lead male character in “blackish” (the tv show), you must call them Black (as in Black Lives Matter).

Looking for cross over stats. I am wanting to see if blacks are crossing traditional democratic lines to vote for trump in both states. If that is the case. The left is done!

The only real 'African-American' that comes to mind immediately is Theresa Heinz-Kerry, who was born in Mozambique.

I pipe up every time I see somebody use that term here. When negroes demand that I use a ridiculous, magisterial-sounding, royal title of seven syllables to identify them, I don’t go along. Maybe when they start calling me “European American” (EIGHT syllables—I win), I’ll think about it.

Unfortunately we have closed primaries in Mississippi. You either have to go to the Republican table or the Democrat table when you walk in. This keeps many blacks from voting Republican in the primaries. I have talked to many blacks and they say that they will not vote in the Republican primary because they are afraid of other blacks......if other blacks in their area sees them going up to the Republican table they will be harassed in their neighborhoods or at work. This is the same reason that you don’t see many blacks at Trumps rallys......they would be shunned and harassed and possibly even violence used against them....they are not free, they are still on the Democrat plantation,completely controlled by their democrat overlords...so they toe the line......now in the general election they can vote for whoever they want to without worrying about being harassed. So I would suspect that many will vote for Trump if Trump is our nominee.They know that Obama was a disaster for black America. They need jobs just like everybody else and Obama has destroyed many of their jobs...they know it.....
