I do not want to ensure that -Trump- wins with a plurality of delegates.
I want to ensure that WHOEVER has the most delegates is given the nomination, and I also want to ensure that someone who has not participated at all in this process, like Romney, or someone who was a basement dwelling candidate, like Bush, is not handed the nomination simply because the GOP prefers them.
I want the GOP to respect its base for once, and if they do not, they can go to ****in’ Hell.
Then what you are saying is that you want the GOP to change the rules at the last minute to give the nomination to "WHOEVER has the most delegates" rather than the candidate that gets >50% support among the delegates as has been the rule.
Again I ask you...If Jeb Bush were leading a pack of 3 anti-establishment candidates but only had 40-45% of the vote, wouldn't you think that it would be fair for the anti-establishment candidates to release their delegates to get behind one of them to defeat the establishment candidate? That has always been the rule. Why should we change it for Trump?
Do you think if after the last primary the delegate count is Trump-42%, Cruz-37%, Kasich-18%, Rubio-2%, Carson-1%....the last 3 candidates should't be able to release their delegates?
