We have a delegate/convention system for a reason. Perhaps you don't know what the word "delegate" means and that is what is so confusing to you. Here is the definition of the word "delegate"...
a person sent or authorized to represent others, in particular an elected representative sent to a conference.
People who cast votes for Rubio weren't necessarily casting votes for Rubio to be President. They were casting votes for DELEGATES who thought Rubio should be President to go to the convention and pick a President. Those delegates will go to the convention in July and will pick someone else because their guy is out of the running and doesn't have a chance.
If Trump has 1237 delegates then he has nothing to worry about. He doesn't need any of Rubio or Kasich's to get the nomination. If he is only a couple delegates short, he should have an easy time picking off a few and crossing the finish line. If he is hundreds short and the vast majority of Rubio's and Kasich's go to Cruz, then too bad. The base has spoken. The delegates they selected don't want Trump to be President.
If there are Trump fans that are butt-hurt because they didn't fully understand how the delegate/nomination process works, that really can't be helped.
It sounds like what you are saying is "If you don't let me win, I am going to take my toys and go home"
I didn’t read your post.
I’ve made myself clear.
Have a nice day.
