“Listen, Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice. Where we are beating him is when voters’ get more engaged and they get more informed. When they inform themselves, they realize his record.”

It’s 100% true that anybody who educates themselves on Trump cannot support him in the primary unless they are a liberal Democrat or an anarchist.

Sometimes the truth hurts; Trump wants truth telling?; this is truth telling. If you are insulted by the truth, you need to look inwards.

Trump is an abortion loving, Gang of 8 loving, Hillary loving, gun control loving, Obamacare loving liberal New Yorker. Yeah he hates the establishment but so does Bernie Sanders. Maybe Bernie should switch to the GOP since he and Trump are two peas in pod.

That being said, if Trump takes the nomination, you can count me in the “anarchist” camp, because WGAF.

I fully admit, I’m one of the people Cruz is talking about. I was low information about Trump too. I thought it was “neat” he was pounding on the establishment mercilessly. I don’t have cable and wasn’t really paying attention to the process prior to my caucuses, but was listening to Rush and Hannity who seemed OK with Trump. I couldn’t figure out why Beck was going ape-bleep crazy over Trump. I attacked people like Romney and Norm Coleman for interfering with the primary process.

Then I managed to watch that last debate, and it really opened my eyes. Trump was unbelievably boorish. Trump could not answer basic questions. Trump changed his position to whatever was convenient. Trump outright lied about Trump University and other parts of his businesses. Trump would not explain his support of Democrats and Democrat policies. So I looked more into what Trump believed in and who he has supported over his life.

I guess I should still thank Trump for taking out Jeb Bush who was a major concern for me, but I don’t think Trumpsters should get their hopes up too much with regard to what Trump will do to DC, the GOP establishment, or any major American policy. The guy is still a New York liberal and will be very Bloomberg-esque once he gets into office.
