Ted Cruz, A Bush By Another Name
Daily Caller ^ | 3/10/16 | Roger Stone

Posted on 03/10/2016 7:50:03 AM PST by jimbo123

Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You can’t make this stuff up.

This endorsement says much. Since the other, more politically involved Bush men have a distinct dislike for Mr. Cruz, I suppose Neil Bush is better than no Bush. Let’s look at the wonderful memories that Neil Bush has left us with. First there is is that little banking charade he steered us into back in 1985.

Back in 1981, Neil Bush was director of Silverado Savings and Loan in Denver, Colorado. Neil was very generous, lending millions to pals Kenneth Good and William Walters. The $250 million in loans went into default, S.S. & L. went bankrupt and had to be seized by the Feds. Neil Bush walked away with a cool $100,000 personal loan which he never paid back. Documents released by the Office of Thrift Supervision detailed the conflict of interest charges against Neil. Federal regulators described him as “unqualified, and untrained” to be a director of a financial institution.

It seems Neil miscalculated just how much he knew about directing a mega financial institution like Silverado Savings and Loan. By the summer of 1990, the cost of bailing out the savings and loan industry would cost at least $500 billion! Neil’s Silverado adventure cost U.S. taxpayers $1.5 billion.

It is better to defeat him in a CLEAN fight

What do you think Hillary is going to do. You think she's going to ignore it just to remain above the fray or something?

Cruz gets nominated, the Dems will put out all stops, backed by their leftist judges, to destroy Cruz over his eligibility. And Cruz's new butt-buddies in the GOPe aren't going to do a damn thing to stop it.

Prove what he said about Cruz is not true.

I know when you can’t argue the facts..., then attack the messenger.

You have learned well from the Establishment/Globalist/Uni party.

Trump did not hire David Duke, and David Duke did not edorse Trump. On the other hand Cruz is endorsed by Neil Bush, and Ted hired the crook Neil Bush.

A super delegate is the SAME as a delegate in a constested convention in THIS respect ...

THEY SOMETIMES VOTE AGAINST THE FRONT RUNNER.

Try explaining that to the the supporters of a front runner.

Cruz is offering hope to his supporters through this kind of trick.

Or do you think he will actually do the opposite and ask delegates to vote for Trump? Doesn’t sound like that to me.

“I am the anti-Trump.”

‘Ah so you didn’t even read about the racist supporters in the thread. Got it.’

Oh yes. Cruzies are a ‘cut above’ Trumpsters.

I see that so clearly now.

We are not worthy to post in this forum!

Take it from me, for-q-clinton is vastly superior to me. So much so that he can read things that I too have trouble finding. Why should he waste his time with us who have such puny minds by bothering to hunt up his own claims?

‘No that’s not being a kingmaker.’

Sea Island in Georgia used to be where the Kingmakers met. It might as well still be called Kingmaker Island. And they want a contested convention.

Those guys who flew in over 50 jets ~~ social media moguls, GOP Elites, Bill Krystol, many leftists, etc.

‘When do you think the Cruz supporters will see that??’

Despite his judiciousness, Rush and Hannity have probably been the most astute of all Cruz supporters. Hannity has to play things close to the vest for interviews, but Rush caught on right away.

Rush did not want to antagonize Cruz supporters, but he did essentially say that McConnell would want a LOT out of Cruz to offer genuine support.

Rush thinks Cruz is walking into this lion’s den with eyes wide open.

I hope he’s wrong.

Like Rowling wrote through one of her Harry Potter characters, “A fool lies to himself.”

And I would rather think Cruz is being foolish than assume he actually knows what he’s doing. Because if he does, he might as well write a pact in blood to the Devil.

‘It is better to defeat him in a CLEAN fight ...’

‘What do you think Hillary is going to do?’

What a contorted point.

I was referring to a delegate hunt at the convention. So you want a candidate who is really good at stealing delegates? That would be Jeb, McConnell, etc.

And only that kind of candidate should be the winner? Or do you want the one who gets the most popular votes?

It has probably been a mistake to think of Cruz as an "insurgent" or "outside-the-establishment" candidate.

You're right to point out all the strong Bush/Cruz ties going on right now.

PLUS, I found this on Wikipedia for Mister Cruz...

Bush administration

Cruz joined the George W. Bush presidential campaign in 1999 as a domestic policy adviser, advising then-Governor George W. Bush on a wide range of policy and legal matters, including civil justice, criminal justice, constitutional law, immigration, and government reform.

Cruz assisted in assembling the Bush legal team, devising strategy, and drafting pleadings for filing with the Supreme Court of Florida and U.S. Supreme Court, in the case Bush v. Gore, during the 2000 Florida presidential recounts, leading to two wins for the Bush team. Cruz recruited future Chief Justice John Roberts and noted attorney Mike Carvin to the Bush legal team.

Cruz also talks about the case he is most proud of which was before the Supreme Court. Roberts wrote the opinion and it favored Cruz's side.

There are always a lot of attorneys involved in these cases AND their researchers. I think he's taking much too much credit for himself.

Early on, I thought Cruz would make a good USSC Justice. I know longer feel that way. He's too interested in "Power". He's even said the USSC judges should be terms. Talk about Obama throwing the Constitution out the window.

A statesman would unite his party during a convention. Someone selfish and unpatriotic puts ambition first.

It is unreasonable to oust the frontrunner with obscure delegates if the frontrunner’s support is genuine and not astroturf-establishment.

And I’m sure that we can find that, during his childhood, that the young Mr. Cruz trimmed the bushes around his house. Thus another association of Cruz to dreaded bushes.

You missed the sarcasm that I meant with all of the diatribes of the anti-Jeb Bush people toward anyone who might have even met or seen Jeb anywhere, anytime, any reason.

A lot of us Trump supporters posted these things and they were scoffed at, we were called Nazis; stupid; idiots; among other things, so we stopped...

We Trump supporters do not believe in making up lies to knock our candidates opponents down, we would rather use truth and that is what we tried to do, we don't anymore, Cruz and Rubio are doing a fine job of that without our help...but we will, however, post the truth when it comes to our candidate Trump.

Thank you for your information...
