Understanding the issues is important also. Especially when you have no core beliefs over the course of your life.

People just don’t get how good Trump is at this game.

Every attempt to bring him down results in free publicity and an increase in support.

But he’s doing the same exact thing with the big picture, going up against Clinton. The media thinks he’ll lose to her, but they are wrong.

His successful election will be the result of hundreds of small rope-a-dopes, and one great big one. :)

The first thing they don’t get is “attempts to bring him down” are being seen as attempts to shut his supporters out. They should at least be able to see that.

Of course, this is what some of us have been concerned about, and I say this as a tongue-talking Pentecostal.

Agree, Trump needs debate tutoring, maybe by Newt.

I found Cruz's performance a bit perplexing. While I know he has his favorite soundbites, I haven't seen him, until last night, overly rehearsed.

Yet last night, he stammered when one of his canned responses didn't fit the question. I thought it was a really weak performance by Cruz. The other debates I thought Ted did pretty well but last night he definitely seemed off.

And Trump not biting may have been one of the reasons.

IMHO that is a cheap, below-the-belt shot at Ted’s faith.

But one that will no doubt be effective.

Again, that is not leadership

Cruz has proved he has none

Trump has not led in the number of votes in terms of percentages. That’s fact. That’s reality. The odds of a contested convention are great. Who do you think will get Rubio and Kasich’s delegates”

If they nomination is stolen away from the people, as you suggest, the Republican party will be like a ghost town this fall.
