Sad.. There are a lot of Bible " thumpers" as you crudly say, right here on FR... I'm one of them. Self righteous? NOT at ALL.. that's WHY we cleave to our Bibles and God's Plan of salvation.. because we aren't righteous.. only GOD is HOLY.. but His Plan is what we read and believe and accept.... When you put God's Word down, you put a LOT of FREEPERS DOWN.. me for one. Sad...

I take The Donald pretty much at his word for now. I’m not a hard core Trump fan, but I do like a lot about him, and being called low information really pissed me off. That’s a bad thing to do during an election season. Does Ted think he can change the way I think? He may persuade me to vote for him weighing pro’s and cons, but not change what I think is important.
Ted has a lot of financial issues, and being born in Canada IS going to be an issue, like it or not. Nothing makes me madder than seeing a politician talking about religion, it has no place in politics. Even Abortion, keep the religion out of it. It’s murder pure and simple. Politics is far too dirty, keep god out of it.
Back to Ted, in the vast majority of cases Senators really suck at running for President. Being a Senator warps the brain. I’ve met a few, every one of them are vain, devious, and crooked. Senators aren’t delegators, motivators, and leaders. Senators are micro managers to the n’th getting wrapped up in minutiae. Ted’s whole career is about minutiae and he’s good at it. Ted belongs on the Supreme Court, not the Whitehouse.
