I heard it. Cruz did point out that the tone Trump's discourse, occasionally suggesting protestors be subjected to violent retaliation, is influential on his supporters, but he did not blame this incidence of violence specifically on Trump. I'd say his characterization of the situation is accurate. Deal with it.

It is not Trump’s supporters causing the trouble. It is Trump’s supporters who are being violently set upon during the rallies.
