What would you have had him do? Give a speech while the rioters were attacking his supporters? Have his supporters have a full-scale violent confrontation with the rioters? He cared about the safety of those attending this event, so he postponed it. I’m sure if he would have given the speech and a bloodbath ensued, you would be saying he did the right thing.
Some of these folks are clearly suffering from political party psychosis. Some are probably afflicted from BVS, Battered Voter Syndrome, where they just can’t get enough abuse and keep coming back for more.
First, stop inciting the violent inclinations of the extreme left by publicly fantasizing about how he would like to beat protesters with his own fists.
Second, stop inciting the violent inclinations of his supporters by telling them he will pay their legal fees for beating protesters at his rallies.
